Witney Town Centre Pubwatch
We are a collective of hospitality venues in Witney that work together to help keep the town, our customers and our staff safe. We share information on trouble makers of all kinds and where warranted we combine together to ban individuals from all our premises. If you have been told you are subject to a pub-watch ban contact us for more information. We are affiliated to the National Pubwatch and follow their operational guidelines, If you operate a licensed venue in Witney and are interested in joining the group please click the relevant link below. We meet regularly to share information and discuss any items of interest or relevance to our operations. We have regular contact with the Police both the Licensing Officer and the neighbourhood teams, we receive information on the latest issues nationally and locally, are included in initiatives to keep our customers and staff safe and liaise on times in the year which are traditionally busier than normal such as New Year.
We operate a messaging system between our venues so if you are involved in an incident in one venue you may well be refused entry / service at other member venues on that day or evening. This does not mean you are on a pub-watch ban but it does mean that misbehaving in one venue could severely limit your options for the rest of that night. If your actions are considered to be more serious a pub-watch ban could be proposed and if a majority of our members agree you will be informed in writing of this decision and your right of appeal.
